Singer Ankie van der Pas (Delft, 1962) truly begins her musical career in the then women’s home on Molslaan. Mid eighties she is co-founder and lead singer of the eight-headed women’s soul ensemble, Mama’s Got a Headache but she also sings in the European tour of internationally acclaimed group, Flairck. For years she forms a successful duo with guitarist Erwin Beijersbergen and in 1986, she is awarded the Gouden Microfoon (Golden Microphone) by the Conamus Foundation. Van der Pas is known for her versatility and variety of styles. During the finals of the COC Songfestival in Groningen and Amsterdam in 2017 and 2018, she represents the LGBT-community in Delft with two of her own compositions.
